Demolition has been underway and construction will soon begin at the Salem Harbor Power Plant. Footprint Energy will talk about the activities at the next HDSNA meeting on June 8th, 7:00 pm at the House of the Seven Gables, 115 Derby Street. In addition to a presentation by Footprint, there will be time to ask questions.
Also: The Salem Council on Aging and Jewish Family and Children’s Service are working on an initiative called “Salem for the Ages.” The goal is to learn more about how the City of Salem can best respond to the needs of residents as they age. Be part of the discussion and meet with the coordinator of this initiative on June 1st at 7:00 pm at the home of Mira Riggin, 2 Curtis Street.
