Thank you for your support of our Annual Fund

Thank YOU for being a generous donor, member, volunteer, and friend to The Gables in 2019.
Your annual fund contributions, of all amounts, allow us to be a welcoming, thriving, historic site and community resource that engages people of all backgrounds in our inclusive American story.
We are truly grateful and invite you to take part in our inspiring year ahead filled with new programs, tours, initiatives, and events.  You make our work possible!
January Shutdown

The House of the Seven Gables will be closed from January 1 – 16. In preparation for this three-week shutdown, our interpretive staff has been working hard developing a new house tour. This shutdown period will allow adequate time for our guide staff to train on this refreshed tour experience at The Gables.

Be among the first to experience the new tour and share your feedback with our staff. The only prerequisite is that you have joined us for a tour in the past 5 years. A members-only tour will be held on January 17 with tours from 2:00 – 3:00 and 3:30 – 4:30.
Members can register here >>

Public tours will be held on January 18 and 19. Tours will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 and 11:30 – 12:30.

Looking Ahead - Enterprising Women

The 19th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees and protects a woman’s right to vote. To honor the 100th anniversary of this historic milestone, The House of the Seven Gables will celebrate the enterprising spirit of women and their continuing impact with a year of special events.

Membership will have added perks in 2020! We have six unique member-exclusive events planned for the year. The first, on January 17, gives members the first viewing of our newest tour. We’ve spent the last year updating how we share our stories. We invite you to experience our brand-new house tour and share your feedback. We only ask that you have toured within the past five years.

What's New in Settlement
In 2020 we proudly debut the New Immigrant and Refugee Visions (NIRV) documentary series.

New Immigrant and Refugee Visions (NIRV) is a collection of ten documentary films by and about immigrants.  These short films provide a unique insiders’ perspective on the integration challenges immigrants face and the contributions they make to our culture, economy and social fabric. The filmmakers made these short films to engage communities in dialogue about immigrants and immigration in the United States. Each film will be followed by a community conversation.
