Salem’s Dog Night of Summer
Do you have a canine friend that you like to explore with? If so, bring your pooch to Salem Maritime to become a Bark Ranger! Take part in a dog walk, meet other dog lovers and enthusiasts, enjoy an outdoor movie, and earn your official Salem Maritime Bark Ranger tag! Our first Bark Ranger program will include:
• A Park Ranger-led walk along historic Derby Woof (Wharf)
• Visits from organizations who love and champion dogs
• Swearing in of Bark Rangers and their Leash Holders
• Free Raffle
• Outdoor showing of the family dog movie “101 Dalmatians”
Location: Meet behind the Narbonne House at 71 Essex Street, Salem. Movie will be shown at sundown behind the Hawkes House at 174 Derby Street. For the movie, please bring something to sit on.
