At 1:00 p.m. the Salem Moose Lodge will present Tommy Moose stuffed animals to HAWC to be given to children when they experience a traumatic event.  In 2003, the Moose International Organization created the Tommy Moose community outreach program, where local chapters provide plush Moose dolls to first responders and social service agencies to be given to children when they experience a traumatic event.

Mixed in with a day of learning about public safety, there will be face painting, coloring and crafts for children, along with food to purchase.  There will be something for everyone, so please join us and have some fun while learning some important public safety information.  This event will take place rain or shine and is free and open to the public.
