Verteran's Day Holiday trash schedule delays 1 day to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

The city of Salem will hold it's annual Veterans Day ceremony at Salem High School beginning at 11:00 AM. This event is free and open to the public. Due to the holiday trash and recycling pick up in the city of Salem will be a day late but Wednesday Thursday and Friday pick ups. If your trash is in barrels city regulations prohibit it being placed curb side any earlier than 6:00 PM on the night before your scheduled pick up. If your trash bags. It cannot be placed curb side until 6:00 AM on the morning of your pick up this delay in trash and recycling pick up will not affect regularly scheduled compost pick ups.
