The House of the Seven Gables

The last event in the immigration conversations series is a community roundtable with Professor Westy Egmont called Where Do We Go From Here?  Tonight, November 12, from 6 to 8 PM at the House of the Seven Gables.

Next Wednesday, author Brunonia Barry will talk about her new book The Map of True Places.  Wednesday, November 18, at 6 PMat the House of the Seven Gables.

The House of the Seven Gables is accepting food donations leading up to Thanksgiving.  Donate at the front desk and receive a discount at the museum store.

National Park Service

The Visitor Center on Liberty Street will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

The park is planning to open the Orientation Center on Derby Street again in the late spring or early summer in 2016.

HDSNA

Dolores Jordan will be honored at an event by Salem Alliance for the Environment tonight, November 10 at 5:30 PM at the Hawthorne Hotel.

The new HDSNA boardwas approved by members in attendance.

Sharon Smith and John Zbyszynski will be the HDSNA delegates to Derby Neighborhood Envision 2020.

Christian Haselgrove will be the HDSNA delegate to the Neighborhood Improvement Advisory Council.

The next meeting will be our holiday party on Monday, December 14 at 6 PM in St. Joseph Hall.
