Salem historian and raconteur, who will share tales about Derby Street, the old Polish neighborhood, the coal power plant, and Dolores and her family.
Dolores is a lifelong resident of Derby Street – the heart of Salem’s once thriving Polish community. She and her sister Alice were responsible for getting Derby Street designated as a Historic District. Dolores is a treasured SAFE Board member, a tireless neighborhood warrior and environmental advocate. Her memories, achievements and experiences are legendary.
