The City of Salem will
hold a household hazardous waste and e-waste collection on
Saturday, September 30, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at Salem High School, 77 Willson
Street. $20 per car, cash only, and proof of residency is required. No
commercial vehicles are allowed at this event. Please note that for e-waste
there is a $10 per item additional cost for TVs, computer monitors, air
conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators. For additional details about
hazardous materials that are or are not accepted at this event please see the
