Friday, Nov 11, 0900 Juniper Point Monument Rededication of aneighborhood monument to 4 servicemen killed in action during WWII. One surviving sister will be there along with the neighborhood association.
Friday, Nov 11, 1100 Salem Veterans Council Annual Veterans Day ceremony at Salem High School. A long overdue award of a Bronze Star with valor medal to Salem native. We will also be awarding the Salem Wartime Service medals-if any Salem veteran feels they are eligible, please contact 978-745-0883.
Saturday, Nov 12, Salem VeteransFree Dental Clinic- call Paradise Dental 781-598-3700 to set up appointments-- and tell them the Salem Veterans office sent you!
Sunday, Nov 13, 0900-1200-Free breakfast for all veterans and their families and families at the VFW, 95 Derby Street.
Sunday, Nov 13, 10am-3 Salem Veterans Council annual Barnes and Noble (Peabody) book fair!!.Proceeds go to area veterans and families. If you can make it, buy on line using code 11860921.
Sunday, Nov 13, 5-6:15pm- YOGA class taught at the Green Tea Yoga Studio, 10 Colonial Road, Salem-All are welcome! Donation class only with all proceeds going to the Veterans Yoga Project.
Monday, Nov 14, 11am-1pm,Salem State Veterans Appreciation Luncheon at the Veterans Hall, Ellison Center.
Tuesday, Nov 15, 1000-1100-friends of veterans and veteran coffeeat the Salem Vets office, 5 Broad Street-all are welcome!
