What
was it like to write a letter with a quill? What did people eat
in 1668? What chores did they do?
Find out this summer in our Living History Lab at The House of the
Seven Gables. Everyday during Salem Heritage Days, guests will
play both scientist and historian by getting their hands and minds on
some fun and engaging experiences from the past.
Offered from 10:30-1:00 & 2:00-4:30, some of the activities
will include: 18th century handwriting, 17th century food preparation, Colonial toys &
games and carding sheep’s wool. The ‘Lab’ will also be open on
weekends through the summer. So, come and ‘experiment’ with
history this summer in our Living History Lab.
