Subject: SNOW REMOVAL NO PARKING AREAS 2/4-2/8The following is an important notification from the City of Salem regarding parking restrictions to facilitate on-going snow removal operations. All areas indicated below will be posted as “No Parking” in advance of snow removal.On Wednesday, February 4th, there will be no parking permitted on Leavitt Street from 10pm to 6am.On Thursday, February 5th, there will be no parking permitted in the Riley Plaza lots on both sides of Washington Street and the Klop Alley lot, from 7pm to 7am. There will also be no parking on New Derby and Derby Streets from Washington Street to Congress Street and on Congress Street from Dow Street to Peabody Street from 9pm until 7am.On Friday, February 6th, there will be no parking on Lafayette Place and Chase Street from 8:30am until 2:30pm and on Derby Street from Congress Street to Webb Street and on all one-way streets between Essex Street and Derby Street from 8:30am to 5pm. There will also be no parking in the Crombie Street and Sewall Street parking lots from 7pm to 7am.On Saturday, February 7th, there will be no parking from 8:30am to 5pmon Palmer Street, Dow Street, Harbor Street, Park Street, Prince Street, and Harrison Street. There will also be no parking from 8:30am to 5pm on Essex Street from Hawthorne Boulevard to Webb Street and for all one-way streets off Derby Street from Hawthorne Boulevard to Webb Street.On Sunday, February 8th, there will be no parking from 8:30am to 5pmon Ward Street, Peabody Street, Lynch Street, Perkins Street, and Pingree Street.Thank you for your continued patience as the City works to clear roadways following this record snow-fall.
