Community Benefits Agreement (CBA)

As you may be aware, the City and Footprint have reached agreement on a Payment in Lieu in Taxes (PILOT) agreement and a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) in connection with the proposed new power plant facility. A draft of the CBA that the Council will be discussing and hopefully voting on at their meeting tonight at 7:00 pm was published in the Salem News today. A copy of the draft is linked below. This is technically a draft, but the key terms are set at this point. Footprint will be providing an update on the overall project and the Council will be providing a breakdown of the terms and conditions related to the PILOT and CBA at tonight's City Council meeting at 7:00 pm
