Forest
River Wild Edibles Walk with Iris Weaver, Saturday, July 26 from 11:00-12:30
DESCRIPTION: This
special walk will take us through forested wetlands to see what wonderful wild
edibles are available in our area. While we won't be able to harvest the
edibles, you will have a chance to see what you can forage and eat in other
areas, or perhaps in your backyard!
This FREE walk is
sponsored by Salem's Conservation Commission and organized by Environmental
Educator, Stacy Kilb. Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 24 at 11:00.
DIRECTIONS: Take Loring Ave. to Harrison Rd., which brings you to
Salem State University's South Campus parking lot. Gather at the
trailhead sign at the back of the lot.
If you have any questions, or will be running
late, please call Iris Weaver at 617-773-5809. You can also learn more about Iris at www.irisweaver.com.
