Annual North Shore Pride Parade

Parade Information

June 20, 2015 in Salem, MA

The 2015 parade will take place in Salem, kicking off in front of the Post Office on Margin St., turning right on Norman St. and heading down New Derby. It will continue to Derby St. and onto Hawthorne Boulevard where it will end up on Salem Common, where the Pride festival will follow!
Parade registration starts at 10 a.m. and the Parade kicks off at noon!
There are lots of great spots to watch the parade all along the route - so if you're not marching, be there to cheer everyone on and don't miss a thing!

Miles Over the Moon 4 Mile Road Race July 24, 2015 at 8pm

The Wicked Running Club would like to reach out to the city Councillors and local organizations of the neighborhoods the Miles Over the Moon 4 mile race impacts.

This is our 5th year of organizing this race!!

We are very excited to host this scenic, fast and fun race. We had just over 500 runners last year and expecting the same number if not more this year. We are also excited to again have the opportunity to present scholarship awards to local students.

The City of Salem Witch House presents Witches and Doctors on Trial

The City of Salem Witch House presents Witches and Doctors on Trial: The Diagnosis of Witchcraft in Seventeenth-century England the 4th Annual Lessons of 1692 Lecture on June 10th 2015, 7:00 pm at First Church in Salem, 316 Essex Street Salem, Ma. 



Come spend an evening with Salem State University Professor Donna Seger as she shares with us her research into the testimonies that help shape and inform our perceptions of witchcraft in 1692.

                Distinguished author and scholar Megan Marshall will be visiting The House of the Seven Gables to discuss her Pulitzer Prize winning biography, Margaret Fuller: A New American Life.  A compelling account of the life of one of the most influential and important journalists and women’s rights activists in American history, Margaret Fuller, is sure to captivate the audience.  Join us for this stirring lecture and discussion.
